Motorcycle Wheelie Machine

The reasons for nomination

Dear fellow citizens,
I turn directly to you, as I did in the past five years as Mayor. I chose to run again in order to give continuity to my political project and to stay the course in 2004. They have been years of uninterrupted work, without hesitation or second thoughts aimed at creating a city of Monreale more livable and enjoyable. At my inauguration I had to face a serious financial situation: the condition of the City had failed, the tenders were deserted because no one had more confidence in the entity. But I would not give up without trying to save the City, employees, their families and Monreale. The failure, in fact, I would forced to send home and to put all temporary employees hired for mobility in the past, I would have to require a doubling of council tax. I preferred the more difficult, perhaps unpopular, rehabilitation. I have been and continue to be the mayor of the people, willing to listen to your problems to solve together, with the same dedication that I have always made in carrying out my work as a doctor and a doctor friend of the people. The political image of appearances of "bridging" and "listing effect" I preferred the policy of making and acting: I have not had neither time nor desire to devote myself to things that are not strictly necessary, and stay at any cost "spotlight" or in the newspapers. I feel the need to continue to advocate for our city and I am confident and serene comments taken to court voters: you will once again my resource, the added value that has characterized my way of doing politics.

Thanks
Toti Gullo
